Let's face it, college is expensive. Although FASFA can cut the costs of college expenses, it will not cover everything. Welcome to the nightmare of student loans. One of my eighth grade teachers gave me the best advice when it came to cutting college costs. It doesn't matter what you major is, all of your classes will be the same your first two years as a college student. You can major in anything from biophysics to business education, all of your classes will be the same. The best thing to do is attend a community college your first two years, knock those basic courses out, then transfer to a university in which you will get into your major classes. Below are links that breakdown the costs of community colleges a universities
*Prices are mostly based on in state students.
